At the same hospital she subspecialized in corneal and refractive surgeries. She is an instructor of cornea and refractive residents and fellows at HES. During the first development projects of implantable collamer lenses (ICL), she was in charge of organizing the operations with the first patients who were implanted in the country. She is an officer of the Banco de Corneas de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana and serves as one of the main corneal transplant surgeons of the medical group.
